About Me:
The last few years people have lost sight of what it takes to make an educated investment in a home. That is why we have devoted our time and efforts to create a forum and education platform for one of the most valued members of the community, teachers. We hope to involve other valued members of the community to further our cause and assist teachers with information which will allow and assist them to make an educated decision about the home buying process.
Why Teachers?
Teachers/coaches have had a huge impact on my life. Their influence still deeply resonates with me. I was taught the meaning of hard work and commitment. Every person reading this has a teacher that had a dramatic impact on their life as well. We all give back in some way but I feel strongly about giving back to all teachers and trying to assist them anyway possible. I hope all of you feel the same.

The Credit Crunch:Where is it happening? Reposted from Time.com

I found this informative. I thought some others might as well.

Article by Barbara Kiviat

While Congress bickers over how to fix the financial meltdown, there's a decent chance you haven't even felt it. Why, you may be asking yourself, does everyone think there's such a big a problem when you're still being offered credit cards in the mail and 0% financing at the car dealership? Maybe you used to bank with Washington Mutual or Wachovia and overnight you've become a Chase or Citi customer, but i… Continue

Lenders to FHA: Thanks but no thanks for your help.

This article was on CNNMoney.com today.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- As part of the massive housing rescue bill passed by Congress in July, troubled borrowers will be able to refinance their home loans with the backing of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) starting on October 1.

But at a congressional hearing today in Washington, lenders didn't seem terribly enthusiastic about the program, dubbed Hope for Homeowners.

The program calls for lenders to voluntarily refinance delinquent mortgages… Continue

Thanks for all of the facts and information you are sharing. It is so true...teachers are unsung heroes and deserve great service and attention.
Joe and I love working with teachers and their families. They teach us how to get to your dreams and we like to make them happen. We are happy to find homes for as many teachers as we can and make sure they are also educated in the home buying process and the many rewards that follow.
