About Me:

I have spent 30+ years in the remodeling business, literally since I was a kid. I work with several remodel contractors and designers who specialize in certain aspects of remodeling. I am able to match the contractor/designer with the project resulting in a professional job for much less.

Why Teachers?

I volunteer at Valley Youth Theatre and teach Improv Comedy. It's probably the most rewarding thing next to being a parent that I've ever done. If I reflect upon who had the most positive influence on my life, they were almost all teachers. So I guess I'm just trying to give a little back.

Remodeling in this financial market. Are you crazy?

According to HouseTracker.net, the average home price in the greater Phoenix area is $243,000; which is down from $300,000 just one year ago today. The market is down, but there are silver linings if you know where to look.

Remodeling and construction costs are down, too. The average price per square foot (psf) of a home with enough land for a room addition in Phoenix is approximately $150 psf. The average price to add space (300 sf) to a home is $115 psf.
