About Me:

I have been active in the Real Estate industry for over 38 years. Attending Foothills College in California, as a Real Estate major and was first licensed in the State of California in 1970, I later obtained my license in Arizona in 1975 and became a licensed Broker in 1979. Although I never obtained a “scholastic” degree in Real Estate I have been formally “street” educated in all phases of the real estate profession. I have owned and operated my own independent Brokerage firm and competed with the Brand name companies for the majority of my career, have worked as the designated Broker for a multi state development company and spent time in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico establishing an onsite sales team and reorganizing the sales operation for a major Real Estate Developer in the mid 90’s.
Combining over 10 years, in California and Arizona, I’ve worked as a Management Broker for a governmental agency, managing REO properties from the pre-foreclosure stage through resale. Handling as many as 225 single family homes at a given time, preparing rehabilitation specifications, bid coordinating and overseeing the work progression through re-sale of the property
In that 38 years I have also enjoyed a successful career as an active sales agent and or Broker Associate with firms in California & Arizona, primarily in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Recently, after a brief absence while operating Conner & Associates Real Estate, I have re- joined the RE/MAX Excalibur Real Estate Team, where in 1996 and 1997 I was a member of the Presidents Club and in 1998 the Executive Club, designations for residential sales activity. I served in the Marine Corps in the mid 60’s, and distinguished myself as a leader, I have been active in youth sports (Little League & Pop Warner), a contributor to a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Urban League of Phoenix, co-owned a restaurant and have been involved in the music industry. As a Real Estate Professional I have been recognized by my peers as well as my clients as being just that, a PROFESSIONAL.
