Why Teachers?
I am from a family of teachers. I understand that our society has failed to compensate educators in proper proportion to their importance and impact on our future. Unfortunately, although I cannot directly control their salaries, but, I can make it easier for teachers to buy homes. I am doing this through a new nationwide program called Homeworks from Realty Executives International. In conjunction with the International program, I can offer incentives from local vendors that can save Teachers up to $2,000 at closing!

Sarah,
This is an absolute shot in the dark. My older daughter is living and working in DC. She needs help networking to try to find the job of her dreams (ie. on the "Hill." She is a college graduate and well grounded, but right now hates the job she's in. I know you're in real estate, not career, but any insite you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Margo

Desert Heritage Mortgage Chosen
By Fannie Mae as HomePath Lender

New REO Loan from Fannie Mae Requires Only 3% Down
and No Mortgage Insurance

Phoenix, AZ — (February 12, 2009) Desert Heritage Mortgage, an exclusive lending partner with Realty Executives and one of several lending affiliates of Metrocities Mortgage, is now one of only 12 lenders nationwide approved to offer Fannie Mae’s new “Real Estate Owned” (REO) loan product called HomePath. Desert Heritage is able to accept loan applications in all 50 states.

Fannie Mae has thousands of REO properties across the nation resulting from foreclosures. The HomePath product, offered in both fixed and adjustable-rate loans, serves as a financing option for consumers seeking to buy a Fannie Mae REO.

Primary residence homes purchased with HomePath are also eligible for up to 6% in seller concessions, which can help a buyer cover closing costs. A primary residence property requires only a 3% down payment, no appraisal and no mortgage insurance with HomePath. The new Fannie loan can also be used to finance investment properties, with only 10% down required for 1-2 unit buildings. Investors applying for a Homepath loan may own up to ten properties.

“HomePath is an exciting loan with great terms,”says Vicki Johnson, first vice president of Desert Heritage Mortgage, “And Desert Heritage is one of only a few HomePath lenders. Together with Realty Executives, we are financing a lot of REO properties through their New REO Buyers Program and Unique Foreclosure Centers. We're very pleased to be partnering with Fannie Mae to offer our customers even more financing options.”

Homebuyers interested in a HomePath loan should contact Desert Heritage Mortgage at 888-393-9590 x7124 or vickij@metrocitiesmtg.com to get connected with an experienced Loan Officer in their area.

About Desert Heritage Mortgage: Desert Heritage is one of several lending affiliates of Metrocities Mortgage, which combined represent the largest independent residential retail mortgage enterprise in the United States. Thanks...It only took me 3 hours to get it going yesterday. Despite that it was pretty simple. I may need to tweak it a little more. :)

Welcome, Sarah, not only is it great to see another Realty Executive agent joing, but one from the east coast too. It appears most of our members here are from Arizona. Good luck. I'v just joined this site and am not sure where it will take me, but I'm willing to try. Margo
