About Me:
I am the founder of Teacher A+. I created this program in 2003 as way to provide teachers both home buying education and loan options. Now with the help of all the members, Teacher A+ has become a resource for home buying.

I recently transformed this site to become the Premiere Teacher Networking Community, and we proud to a part of your local educational community.

My Wife Jen and I live in Glendale Arizona with our 3 children, Tate, Blakely and Hudson. My kids are part of the inspiration that drive me to help teachers.
Why Teachers?
I am happy to have a group of educators that surround me. A majority of my friends and family are teachers. I guess that happens when you marry one.

I am lucky to have a wife that was a 1st grade teacher; she now is the teacher of our three children. I am also grateful to have a brother-in-law that is a coach and teacher and sister-in-law that is a volleyball coach and teacher. My father-in-law retired a few years ago as District Athletic Director, but his love for kids and sports drew him back to the to serve as the athletic director of a high school. My mother-in-law taught 2nd grade for over 25 years until she recently retired. I have a cousin that is a football offensive coordinator for a college and countless friends that are all teachers, coaches and educators. To say I am a big supporter of teachers is an understatement.

Individuals that have children know what kind of impact the teachers and coaches can have on our kids. As a parent one can appreciate everything that a teacher stands for. They represent our future and help shape our kid’s life. Most teachers do not get into teaching because they want to make money. They do it because of the opportunity to help children. The Teacher A+ program is a great way to find creative ways to help and give back to teachers as they fulfill the home ownership dreams.

3) Next fun fact: 144% INCREASE in FHA delinquencies year over year. Anyone want to place any bets on the long term viability of the FHA in its current incarnation? Anyone?

Hi Troy,

Joe and I thought the workshop today was awesome! What a wealth of information for educators. As full time Realtors and teachers/mentors, we look forward to helping as many teachers and teacher support teams as possible. Your whole team is great and we look forward to working with you in the future.
Thanks...Janis and Joe Trent

Haven't seen an answer to this, with reference to the 1st time buyer program. I see where it states income levels as it applies to married or single, but not as to the credit itself. If a buyer is single or not married, is the credit 1/2 of the $8000 ??? Also how would it work with an unmarried man who files as Head of Household???
